You want to know God is in control. This is one of the most comforting teachings in the Bible. To me, anyway! Think of the alternative: God is not in control. And imagine God sitting up in heaven chewing his fingernails, wondering if everything’s going to be okay. But Ephesians 1:11 assures us that God works all things according to the counsel of his will. And God is good. And this may be news to you, but God likes you. You are in the hands of the One in whose hands rests the entire universe. Think about that for awhile!
